Joseph A DeVita - President

Joe began his building career at an early age working side by side with his father. Joe stepped away from construction for a brief time while he attended the University of Cincinnati and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. Upon returning from college, he immediately began to serve as the President of Joseph DeVita Inc. In 1973 he incorporated the company, and a new corporate office facility was purchased at 20 Madison Avenue, Paterson, NJ, where the company still operates. Joseph DeVita Inc. maintains an excellent safety record in part to Joe's commitment to his community. Serving as an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) for 28 years in Wyckoff, NJ, safety always comes first. He is also a member of Local 4 Brick Layers & Allied Crafts Union, and currently serves as a Trustee for the Bricklayers Union. In addition, he serves in the Knights of Columbus, St. Elizabeth Chapter in Wyckoff, NJ.

Anthony DeVita - Vice President

Serving as a laborer and foreman during his summer college years, son Anthony (31) has learned a great deal about his father's corporation. After receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in Crime, Law and Justice from Penn State University in May 2003, he has joined the company on a full time basis, and currently serves as Vice President. Today his duties include purchasing materials, acting as a project manager, managing all administrative work for all projects, job costing, estimating, scheduling, and review of general expenses.  Anthony passed the Unlimtied Certified General Contractors exam for the State of Florida in 2011, and is now licensed.  

Joseph DeVita Jr. - Vice President (inactive)

Son Joseph (34) returned home from Germany in 2003 where he was a Captain in the United States Army. He first got a taste of the construction industry working as a laborer during his summer college years, and upon his return home, he decided to work on a full time basis and currently serves as Vice President for Joseph DeVita Inc. Receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Villanova University in 1999, Joe has completed his Masters degree at Steven's Institute of Technology in Construction Management in 2005 while simultaneously working.  Recently, he has taken a full time position at Sordoni Construction Services. 

Susan Moffa - Executive Assistant

Sue joined Joseph DeVita Inc. as a full time executive assistant in September of 2006. She manages accounts payable, insurance administration and union agreement administration.
